Hi friends!! I’m happy you are here and I’m so excited to share my spring refresh in our dining room with you! My color inspiration came from these gorgeous cotton paintings made by my sweet daughter in love, Sarah! She is still selling these and you can message her through her blog if you would like to purchase them.
I had the cotton paintings in my family room for a while and since she is creating something new for me to go in the spot they were in , I had to find a new spot for these beauties!!
So to bring in some Spring and also the colors of the paintings .. I did my favorite thing……shopping the house!! This is my go to in creating new looks for different seasons and that’s exactly what I did here! I gathered up items I already had to bring in those spring touches and colors!
I first grabbed my dark charcoal colored Magnolia pots that you have seen me use for my Christmas and Winter decor as well if you follow me on my Instagram . I used some old books and flowers and greenery I had from last spring as well! I always shop my house first and then decide if I need to add a few new items to the room.
I did purchase a few new items from H&M home to bring in more of the colors I wanted to incorporate in this space. This was my first time ordering from H&M and I can tell you I am so happy that I did. Their items are wonderful and perfectly priced! I am in love with this tattered ruffle tablecloth from them. It is the perfect casual and chic tablecloth and can be used for so many seasons and in many ways. Here I casually draped it on the table to create a relaxed and less formal look. I knew I also wanted to bring in touches of blush so I also ordered these linen napkins from them as well. They are fabulous quality and add just the right amount of pink to this spot!
I love to think outside of the box and use things in a different way .. So I flipped this basket from Hobby Lobby upside down to add some height and texture to the table.
I also added a few of my Rae Dunn plates and bowls along with my milk glass cups from The Pioneer Woman line at Walmart. I have linked the clear ones here for you.
I layered the charcoal Magnolia pots and the Rae Dunn plates on this wooden tray I also purchased from H&M.
And since this space also holds our entry way I added pops of these colors in this spot too!
I hope you have enjoyed this little tour of our spring dining room, sweet friends!
I’m pretty new to blogging so please be patient with me! LOL!
I do look forward to sharing more of our home with you and some fun decor and diy projects with you!
